In his first interview since signing a deal to stay at Liverpool until 2014, the Spaniard explained that Merseyside - not Spain - was now home for him and his family. Benitez also talked of his confidence that he can guide the Reds to Premier League glory over the next five years - and revealed how preparations for next season have already stepped up a gear following last night's news. As well as all this, the boss spoke of his pride at his relationship with the fans - describing this as 'the key' to his desire to stay. |
